Bring any current medication with a list of the name and dosage your pet is taking. In addition bring your own food, enough for the duration of the stay. If you do not bring food, we will feed your pet grain free Blue Buffalo for an additional fee of $5 per day. It is optional to bring bedding, a special toy or any other comfort from home that you feel your dog will enjoy.
Yes. All of our dogs are let out into private exercise yards at least 3 times a day
You may drop off your pet by appointment during normal business hours. You will be charged for a full day of boarding the day you drop off your pet, regardless of drop off time. If you pick up before 10:00am, you will not be charged for that day of boarding.
It is a good idea to make a reservation year round. Holidays and local school vacations are very busy times for us, so it is best to book a reservation in advance to ensure a spot for your pet. Over busy holidays we do charge a non-refundable deposit since we will be holding the kennel. If you need to cancel or change your reservation that is no problem! Just give us a call and we can do it right over the phone.
Dogs are required to have current Rabies vaccine, DHLPP booster and Bordetella (for kennel cough) per your vet’s vaccination policy Proof of vaccinations may be presented upon admission, or may be faxed directly from your veterinarian. Our fax is 800-766-1971
We also recommend flea and tick preventative treatment. This is highly recommended during the spring/summer months when fleas and ticks are more prevalent.
That’s no problem! Just bring us your dog’s medication(s) and the specific schedule you use to distribute it. A $5-$10 daily fee may apply.
Yes, if your pets are boarded together in the same kennel. You will be charged the standard cost for the first dog, and each additional pet will receive a discount off that base price. Please call to discuss pricing specific to your situation.
4:30 pm. We do this because all dogs are normally brought inside for dinner and relaxation prior to them going to sleep for the night. We promote a very relaxing and calm environment in the facility and, since they are all together in one area, having one picked up after hours throws everything off and disrupts the scheduled routine the dogs are following. So, if you will be after 4:30 pm, please plan to pickup the following morning. If you pick up before noon you will not incur any additional costs.
Unfortunately yes, it is our strong belief at Deb's Dog Days that the benefits outweigh the risks tremendously. However, some of the risks are the common issue of kennel cough (bordetella). There is also the risk of your dog injuring themselves by pulling a muscle or getting a scratch or knick from playing with their mouths and paws. Just like people, not all dogs get along. Even with careful screening and trained staff, there is the rare risk of a dog fight, typically injuries are minor and do not require any veterinarian attention. Please be aware that there are both benefits and risks to a mixed dog environment. Injuries such as scratches, knicks and pulled muscles are out of our control. If we notice anything we will inform you at the time of pickup.
